Update about blog

The Animas River flows under the Durango-Silverton narrow gauge railroad bridge in Durango's Rotary Park. Part of the Animas River Trail - walking and biking, dog walking and jogging! And benches for resting and reflecting!

Last of the flowers

 


A rosebush just seems unaffected by the frosty nights. Of course it sits by the lake, so that water keeps it a bit warmer. But not much longer.




These huge old rose bushes were also full of chirping little birds...totally safe behind the thorns!

    But you have plants and flowers indoors if I recall. That should help.

      Something cheerful to look at...compared to the drying mud of the lake being drained.

      I do love days when the sun is shining and the skies are blue. But of course there are also gray ones, which this one has turned into.

      I do appreciate them more these days, though they've been there all summer! Then I will go nuts when spring comes and take a zillion photos again.
