Who knew all this would happen afterwards! View out my son's kitchen window over the canyon, and over there somewhere is a Dispensary selling marijuana products (it's Colorado after all!)

Square Tower House, Mesa Verde
My son, Tai and Kendra.
Near the Square Tower House
Tai and Barbara at the canyon that separates the 2 main roads on Mesa Verde.
I learned so much in a few days about the indigenous peoples of the southwest US...mainly preserved by their arid climate and later colonization. The Native Americans of today also have their own historic memories passed down.
...an amazing bit of architecture.

Delete60 rooms! That is amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt sure doesn't look that extensive from these photos. I wonder where they all are.
DeleteIt is great that it was preserved. It's also amazing to see it through your photos, thank you for sharing.
