Update about blog

The joy of waking to this view each morning is just so wonderful. Even if the camera sees all the distortions from the window screen, I easily ignore them. Many of these green trees stand near or by the Animas River which flows through the town.

How to be happy(er)

 Nature doesn’t care if you’re happy, but Yale psychology professor Laurie Santos does.

As Dr. Santos points out during the above appearance on The Well, the goals of natural selection have been achieved as long as humans survive and reproduce, but most of us crave something more to consider life worth living.…

  4. I don’t agree with her initial statement that people are less happy than they were in the past. I think a lot of people in the past were miserable. She’s falling into the trap of comparing ourselves with others.
