View from my tiny balcony, April 11, 2026. The steep slope my apartment building sits on reminds me that this is an ancient river valley, and perhaps where I sit once was the bank of a bigger Swannanoa River than the one of today.

August moon

(Or maybe July...)




This was about to become a full moon, and I really had mood and sleep problems that I attributed to its force upon my "mostly water" being. A lot of friends reported the same.

    Beautiful sky and moon captures. The full moon was bright and beautiful, but sleep is more important.
