Update about blog

August 8th sunset over Hogback Ridge and Heron Peak. Durango CO with air quality warnings of "ozone" or possibly smoke from wildfires. I kept the windows closed.

A gardenia without a brain

 It was very late blooming this spring...

 And now that it's getting cool again!

I gladly picked the first bloom and have loved smelling it on my bedside table.  I find taking several deep breaths clears my sinuses or whatever enough I can enjoy the scent.

    1. I have brought this potted bush inside each winter for about 10 years that I've owned it! Sometimes it loses all its leaves in winter, sometimes it just sits there...but I also usually give it a haircut before bringing it inside, so it's not quite so big.

  2. They do smell lovely! I had one for years... I think I gave it to my sister when I moved.
