Middle of the grey times, time to bring some yellow into our lives!
Amazing all the shades of yellow on vehicles!

I have a contrary relationship with yellow. As a colour I appreciate its joyous appearance and how cheerful and uplifting it is, however I don't use it in my planting plans, I don't wear it, I only paint with it as tint to alter shades of green (water colours) I have very little of it in my décor. If I buy flowers - unless I have no choice, I tend to avoid yellow.😆
ReplyDeleteAh ha, an anti-yellow person you are! Quite interesting. And as I look around I see I also don't have it as part of my decor. So we can leave it to those strange cars out there, eh?
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love all the yellow flowers, they are a cheery sight.
There are times it is hard to stay quiet.
Take care, have a happy day!
Quiet and speaking truth to power...both needed these days!
DeleteI am sort of like Kate. I like seeing the yellow flowers, particularly now, but for the most part, it is not a colour that I would prefer to use. Strange.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if it were red...
DeleteYellow is certainly an attention grabbing color, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteFor me it's cheerful. I think of springtime, or even fall colors. I never knew others didn't particularly like it. Maybe it's connected to disease, or the thought of cowardice as being "yellow."
Delete...Barbara, thanks for cheering me up on this cold, snowy morning.
ReplyDeleteReplies aren't all posting today. OK, trying again. Hope you have a cheerful day!
DeleteYellow is not one of my favorite colors, but you may be changing my mind!!
ReplyDeleteAs a bright reminder of sunshine, I'll take it, especially with flowers. I know some folks do their kitchens in yellow. Mmm, that would be too much I think.
DeleteThank you dear. Beautiful! Aloha
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Enjoy!
DeleteThese are some marvelous photos! Thank you for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2026/01/winter-beauty.html
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, and I've been enjoying the other postings on your blog!
DeleteI love yellow, all shades. My living dining room is painted in many shades, from palest to medium. I wear it, too. Also yellow and white. As a friend said, oh, a fried egg!
ReplyDeleteI'm chuckling about "fried egg" ! But having the right complexion for wearing yellow also is helpful, I think. I think it is prettiest in flowers in my life.
DeleteI enjoy yellow. All colours, actually!
ReplyDeleteAnd you spell color with the extra "u" just to be a bit more colourful!
DeleteYou found lots of yellow!
ReplyDeleteAfter all the red and green of Christmas, my eyes are hungry for blue and yellow.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a yellow coat! On the same wave length! It is still very dark and grey here- No sign of anything else for another few months.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with your governor and surprised no ohter one has recognized this group of monks.
