Oh yes! These are beyond beautiful! They absolutely speak. Thank you for sharing them. What a talent Ms. Dietz is! As for tears- yes, there is pain in them but there is so much relief sometimes too. Relief and release, both beautiful.
I Enjoyed these for their relaxed and more typical modern shaped women, compared to the skinny models that are in advertising all the time. I can still feel like crying, but my dry eyes don’t let me. I kind of miss that.
I'm not familiar with the artist, and I thank you for sharing her work. I do enjoy the sculptures that you shared. They have cute faces and interesting poses.
Barbara, thanks for sharing the sculptures which some people may really enjoy, but while the artist is talented, these works are not to my personal liking. But then, art is different for everyone.

DeleteInteresting sculptures --they have an innocent child-like aura about them.
ReplyDeleteOh that's well described.
DeleteMs. Dietz is very talented. Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I was interested in these figurative sculptures, though I wouldn't call them beautiful.

ReplyDeleteYes, they are definitely interesting to look at, and I keep wondering what it is that makes them intriguing...there's a French term for that.
DeleteThank you for introducing me to this artist. The sculptures are quite expressive with their poses. I appreciate you linking up. Have a great weekend!
