Reality check...here's what we're expecting later today. This photo was taken of my cherry tree where I lived on Feb 26, 2013, at 8 am in Black Mountain. I know many people see icicles much more often than I do!
Now for today's critters...

Aloka and the Buddhist Monks in Walk for Peace 2026
Sharing with Saturday's Critters
----------------by Beatrix Potter.
What we're feeling like here in North Carolina!

...the Art Deco artwork Emerald Eyes by the Russian-born French artist Erté (Romain de Tirtoff) is my favorite! Amen to the Walk for Peace!!!
ReplyDeleteAdmittedly that is the only painting, except perhaps Beatrix Potter's bunny under the covers!
DeleteMy life would be so much poorer without my cat, despite her seeming insanity. That's just the truth.
ReplyDeleteStay in and stay warm.
I agree completely, and do miss having a purring furry friend. Don't miss the litter box though!
DeletePickles and Oliver in the box. 😀
ReplyDeletePretty good friends I'd guess!
DeleteHello, Barb
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post and wonderful critter photos.
I love the cute dogs and the kitties in the boxes.
Stay warm and safe! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Hi Eileen. Hope the storm passes by without any damage.
DeleteGreat pics, especially the Fully Charged one!
ReplyDeleteI can’t remember what device has those bars that light up but it does give the right message!
DeleteI didn't realize the monks were walking shoeless. I hope they're safe and warm from this storm. Must check on that.
ReplyDeleteThey're in Raleigh.
DeleteI heard they canceled their lunchtime meeting in Raleigh. The picture is from several days ago before it got cold. I have seen them today wearing sneakers. I hope they walk in the ice storm. I think they are wide enough to not do that
DeleteWise not wide
DeleteCat memes so needed!! thank you!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed!
DeleteSuch a heart-warming collection of photos, those kittens and pups made me smile!
ReplyDeleteThese are great!
ReplyDeleteYou put a big smile on my face.
