I love the baby's first laugh party! Also the animal moms, especially the lion carrying her cub, who looks as if he'd rather walk.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty amazing with mom's teeth that there's no injury to a cub when carried like that! I loved seeing a party given for a baby's first laugh in a Navaho story in the TV show Dark Winds. First time I'd heard of that, and I read the book the story was based on several times. But the Native Americans who put the TV show together must have added it!
DeleteWe love our manatees here in Florida and have so many wonderful Springs for them to swim in when it is cold. What a cute giraffe too. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteManatees are such wonderful creatures...if they were land animals they'd get hugs a lot I'm sure!
DeleteGreat post today, especially the laughing baby.
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't take any of these, but downloaded them from the internet!
