Update about blogCa

Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Flat Creek in November, 2024. Much changed by the force of the hurricane floods in Sept. 2024. The deck of the bridge is now under that pile of debris.

Happy Hanukkah!

May we all be blessed by the miracle of light in this season.

"Never fear shadows.  They just mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby."
Ruth E. Renkel

Happy Hanukkah, begins today at sundown, 2023.

The good thing about Hanukkah is that it lasts 8 days, like the lamp with only a day's worth of oil.  Every miracle should be celebrated.

    1. There were a lot of people (talented, intelligent) who liked to see things like that. Where are they now?

    1. Watching the evening news it is certainly not peaceful for the Jews in the Middle East. And I read some people were putting lights in windows in solidarity with the Jews...but I think candles in windows are traditional, not always for that reason.
