Update about blog

The San Juan Mountains near Durango, along Highway 160. Yes the pole is to help plows know where the pavement edge is when it snows. I won’t be driving up there then!

Flat Creek's little pool

Looking across the ford, there's some kind of electrical maintenance building. And the little dam that some children have erected means there's a bit of a sandy pool now where the huge trucks cross going to the road-maintenance yard on this side of the creek.

Walk across the new bridge...not as pretty as the old one of Rhododendron branches, but much more sturdy. There are several trails available, but I usually just stay at creek level.

I loved how raindrops pitter pattered.

  1. Hello,

Pretty views of the creek and pool. I am sure many kiddies love playing/cooling off in that water. Take care! Enjoy your day, have a great new week!
