Ancestor Appreciation Day sounds pretty good to me.
ReplyDeleteI think I should make up some things to appreciate and slap them onto days of my choice. Why not? Someone made these decisions as to what they wanted to celebrate! With 366 possibilities, and this list being so long for just one day...there are thousands of celebrations and appreciations out there just waiting!

DeleteThanks for the moon photos. We are in the middle of nor'easter, so no moon for us! Most especially Thanks for the kind and supporting thought you posted on my blog. So far so good. Toes crossed we don't lose power. Hard to believe two years have passed since Helene.
ReplyDeleteKeep dry and warm! Hope you can be all done with the procedure in no time! Yes, the 2 years have gone by with many changes for me (at least.) People in Asheville and Black Mountain would like a return to a tourism trade now, but the pictures of damages are unfortunately still in people's minds...so it's still a time of recovery. October is a big tourist month for "leaf peepers."
