In the in-between days

My oldest son was gifted a "swim with the fishes" at the Florida Aquarium...by his daughter (who I hope also went swimming there, but didn't post a photo!)

  1. Finally found my google info so I can post again.
I've been enjoying all your photos and posts. Especially today's dragons. Very happy to see you still have one of yours living with you.
Toes crossed you are enjoying 'tween week'

  2. Sue calls it the relaxing side of Christmas, but we’re sick and not enjoying ourselves a whole lot.

  4. I didn't know you could swim with fishes at aquariums. I wonder if ours does that? That was a great gift.

    1. I was over the moon when I heard about this gift, and so glad he was able to take a photo. They were invited to bring waterproof cameras...but he didn't have one. Don't know who took the underwater shots for him.

  5. Somehow it just seems wrong to swim in an aquarium although I'm not sure why. I'm sure it's a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
    Love the snow dragon.

    1. Yes , the public sort of doesn’t expect to see my son swimming there…the few times I saw people in the tanks they were working, feeding, or cleaning - and it was part of a show with microphones even!

  6. It's a strange interlude between Christmas and New Year, I always feel restless. I like your dragons, though the snow dragon will melt itself with its breath, surely?

  8. The 'tween week has been quiet for us with no activities or events or road trips. We spent Christmas Eve treating a fellow resident to dinner here at home and Christmas Day and New Year's Eve & Day will be spent together at home. The entertaining will be Dec 30 when we've invited a few fellow residents to our apt for wine, cheese, charcuterie and friendship.
