Update about blogCa
View from my tiny balcony, April 11, 2026. The steep slope my apartment building sits on reminds me that this is an ancient river valley, and perhaps where I sit once was the bank of a bigger Swannanoa River than the one of today.
That must have been a lovely ride, Barbara, and glad you saw snow.
ReplyDeleteIt has been really fun being given various tours, and then enjoying the company of my daughter-in-law and son at their home.
DeleteWhat a lovely ride, the mountain and snow look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day and a blessed Easter week!
It was a great ride!
Delete...did you make a snow man?
ReplyDeleteNope, but tomorrow I'll show you what I did make!
DeleteWhat an elevating experience!
ReplyDeleteWe tried at one point to figure out how much elevation change we went through
DeleteOh, groaner, AC!
DeleteIt is so beautiful snowy there in the mountains. Enjoy your journey! (NewRobin13)
ReplyDeleteI've been treated to so much beauty!
DeleteWow! You really got up there.
ReplyDeleteI'm staying at 6177 feet above sea level - in Cortez, while Telluride is 8750. I bought some oxygen to help me breathe!
DeleteMajestic mountains!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are more craggy than my home Appalachians!
DeleteBeautiful and dramatic!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteHi Barbara, We love the mountains although I'd skip the snow at this point in my life. You did answer one question that I had and that was about any difficulty breathing. Apparently, given that you brought oxygen with you, I'd have to do the same in order for me breath with my Afib issues. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
