Here are a few more shots from home...where spring was just beginning and then I left!
Looking down the "courtyard" past our pink dogwood to see the white one at the furthest apartments.
The pink dogwood still has some blooms, though many branches are past blossoming.
Early buds on the azaleas outside my kitchen.

Today's quote:
You don't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now.

Apparently, my grandfather used to say, “If I knew where I was going to die, I wouldn’t go there.”

We stopped for a night in Cortez once about 10 years ago as we were driving from our area of a SW Denver suburb to the Phoenix area on AZ fro a niece's wedding. It was a wonderful drive and we saw so much of Colorado and AZ on that drive and New mexico on our way back. We did a whilwind visit to Mesa Verde National Park --so fascinating--and then stayed in Cortez overnight. Glad you were able to spend time with your son and daighter-in-law! Hope Colorado treated you well!
