Update about blog

The joy of waking to this view each morning is just so wonderful. Even if the camera sees all the distortions from the window screen, I easily ignore them. Many of these green trees stand near or by the Animas River which flows through the town.

Redbuds and the lake

The ever so tiny redbud blooms look ethereal in sunshine.

Terrible shot, but I think this is dogwood blooming by the Fifth Third bank in Black Mountain.

I picked up my lunch around noon, and saw few people that day.

But it was warm enough for runners in shorts going around the lake. I see another redbud waay over on the other shore. I should go greet it and take a few photos, shouldn't I!

Maybe tomorrow...

What do happy people have in common? They appreciate what they have

    1. Thank you I agree completely – but I have to find those blossoms again each year and maybe make a better photo!

  4. Red buds don't grow here in NH. Dogwoods don't do well either. Did Black Mtn have a Hands Off Rally yesterday?
