Update about blog

The joy of waking to this view each morning is just so wonderful. Even if the camera sees all the distortions from the window screen, I easily ignore them. Many of these green trees stand near or by the Animas River which flows through the town.

Sunday with rest

My son's new home also offers a view of this mountain, to the west of Cortez!  

And if you have time on your hands, here's a wonderful recording of Dr. Martin Shaw. I'm about halfway through listening to him!

    Beautiful photo. One of the few disadvantages to living in the woods is that we don’t really see sunrises and sunsets in the summer.
