Enjoy the forms

Not everyone notices the forms that older cars offer, the designs which echoed the age of jets, flying machines, as if that would make cars faster.

This wonderful Chevy had pristine white upholstery inside also (not leather!)

And then there're the colors that cars come in.

Well, an artist's eye gives lots to explore!

All the car photos were done by me!

Someone went all out to make signs for No King Day last Saturday in Black Mountain. These two signs are fabulous!

What is love? Gratitude. What is hidden in our chests? Laughter. What else? Compassion.

I made a series of small tree altars...little places to stand wherever and maybe add a seashell or votive candle.

    1. Me neither...and where some retailers charge for their bumper stickers, I always ask why they're charging me to advertise for them. No stickers any more for me.

  2. Cars of the late 50s and early 60s were wonderful to look at.

    1. You're so right. I often wonder if my parents had any nostalgia for cars...but then they lived through a war when no cars were available, and they all were black anyway. Have to go back even further to those "antique cars" for fun colors and shapes!

    1. It certainly shows a lot of work. I hope some was done by a big printer maybe.

  8. I also enjoy seeing these vintage autos as you may have noticed from a recent post. I agree with Tom that bumper stickers are not on my car, but my husband has a couple on his rear window and bumper, mostly related to ham radio which is a hobby.

    1. I used to have favorite places for stickers. Up till this car. I would rather be anonymous these days.
