1 in 10 women suffer from Endometriosis. What do you know about it?

And what do the doctors know about it as well?

A  PBS presentation, well documented with four women of different ages/backgrrounds and how they finally got treated. https://www.pbs.org/video/below-the-belt-the-last-health-taboo-wmzdvy/

A clip from the video...it won't play though! Use the link. You may have to tell it who you are...

Very worth while info!

Yes, another thing women have had to deal with and it's still being treated incorrectly.

Today's quote:
Truth-tellers are not always palatable. There is a preference for candy bars.

    1. I was surprised how little I knew about it. And how little it's recognized by medically trained doctors.

  3. I had it and had surgery to remove it. It didn't prevent me having my two daughters. One of my daughters had it and it did prevent any chances of pregnancy. She had a hysterectomy in her 30s.

    1. Oh I'm so sorry you suffered with this condition, and your daughter as well. But at least you knew what was really happening by the time she had it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with her, and maybe that helped her get treatment sooner.

  4. It is a terrible problem. I had a partial hysterectomy because of it. Being on the pill helped, but this solved it.
