Your plants look pretty. We could use more rain, but we do have to keep watering our plants too. I need to find out how to transplant my orchid, I am waiting till the last flowers fall off. Take care, have a great day!
Hi Barbara, Its just about as dry on this side of the Smoky Mountains as well. We did have about 4-tenths of an inch of rain a day ago...the first in a long time. If we didn't have a sprinkler system, our yard would be pitiful. Of course, I'll have to deal with a significant water bill this month. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
I am remembering renting and watering my plants and nobody ever said that I'd increased their water bill...pretty lucky. Here the apartments cover water, but we've had several breaks (outside of apartments fortunately!) and right now there's a possible main leaking up through the pavement in the parking lot.
They are looking good despite the drought.

Thanks Eileen for your good wishes. Yes, I try to water every other day, and there are thunderstorms nearby, but never here!
Delete...it is so dry here that things are dying of thirst too.

DeleteI water my porch plants at least every other day--every day when it's really hot. The rain was most welcome, and it left cooler air behind. Yay!
