Alysa Liu, US Gold Medal Figure Skater
I love the idea of giving messages on fruit. Here my son's name, Tai, is part of this, by an unknown person.
The last of the snow in a parking lot at a doctor's office. Right now (Sunday morning) there are light flurries, and it's getting really cold. Here we go again! Many people are hunkering down for huge snowfall (2 feet for New York forecast!)

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI was happy to see that the USA women's hockey team turned down the White House visit.
I love your flowers! Take care, have a great day!
It's fun to know you're somewhere reading blogs and commenting at the same time I am this morning! (I often don't get out this early to computer!)
DeleteThe women's hockey team gets my respect.
ReplyDeleteWomen who win gold deserve a lot of respect. And turn down the orange one's invite, like many other sports figures have done...well done ladies!
Delete...the Women's Hockey Team is a class act!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are certainly star athletes, and sure of their standing in the community!
Deleteit feels strange that you are still having snow...but then we have maritime weather..and the Gulf Stream
ReplyDeleteAll of that joy and goodwill by the men’s hockey team tarnished in record-breaking time.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, the equal accomplishment by women is always an afterthought, deserving but never receiving the same recognition. They rightly turned down a grudging invitation.
ReplyDeleteKudos to the women hockey players. People need to make that kind of stand for what is right and just. And, oh dear, more snow on the way for you? It's been lovely here today, sunny and unseasonably warm.
ReplyDeletewomen take the wheel!!
ReplyDeleteI was proud of those hockey players who refused to go to the WH. Good for them.
ReplyDeleteAt least we know that young women are carrying the torch for human and moral values. We need to do a better job raising our sons.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at the picture I saw today of the hockey team at the White House, eating McDonalds burgers and drinking cheap bottled water. the women were smart.
ReplyDeleteKudos to the women - Their absence speaks volumes in comparison to the ingratiating of those who did go .....
