Felted sculptures. It is both odd and kind of wonderful, the directions that people take in their lives.
ReplyDeleteI've made a form (can't call it quite a figure) once with felted stuff. Didn't keep it around long. Glad to see others' work that looks so cute.
DeleteI agree. I tried, but I found I was an old dog without new tricks!
DeletePhoebe Capelle creates some amazing things! It's difficult to give our house plants enough this time of year. Be well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving this New Zealand artist's name. I'm happy that the philodendron doesn't need much light.
DeleteThose felted creatures truly are lovely. I know that in some ways, we can and all do make art of our own but the art of some people is just so skilled. Yours, for example.
ReplyDeleteThanks...now I spend time finding the creativity which others have displayed. It's neat to sort through what's shown on the internet. And sometimes go to galleries too in the area.
DeleteThe hare and fairy art is cute! The feltie critters are amazing. I like the dragon too. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
ReplyDeleteThanks Eileen. Have a great weekend.
DeleteOh, very sweet rabbits and fairies and such. I always wonder how to keep felted art clean though. Not like you can wipe the dust off.
ReplyDeleteGood point! Not exactly washable either! you and I do have the practical side to consider!
DeleteThose needle felted pieces are wonderful, thanks for showing us.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there is another kind that is not needle felted...
DeleteOh, those hares!!!
ReplyDeleteshe does the hairiest hares around!
DeleteVery sweet world riding the hares
ReplyDeleteThe felted animals are brilliant! So realistic.
ReplyDeleteThose felted creations are beyond wonderful. What delight to see them. My friend Gretel makes felted critters, has even written a couple how-to books, but i have never tried it.
