This week I have few encounters with critters.
Last week I met a friend's trial new dog, Champ. I haven't seen him this week, so he may not have worked out for her.
He was a rather slow moving older beagle. The interesting part of his story was that his owner had recently died. And she had died the same day that my friend had lost her own dog suddenly. She was trying out living with Champ for a few weeks, I believe.
Another blogger recently posted some art by an artist who was also recently deceased, Leoma Lovejoy. Blogger is Southwest Daily Photos.

Really love your header photo. And your beautiful ceramic "grove of trees', which someone else obviously loved too, enough to buy it. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI have one more sculpture of a grove of trees, this one not glazed, and without a lid. Don't know why I hang onto it. Thanks for your appreciation of my header...it's about time to change it again (an unknown amount of time gives me the urge!)

ReplyDeleteI hope it works out for Champ. We had a beagle when we were kids, she was so naughty and used to go up to school and steal lunches out of the students school bags.
