The dictatorship to come

From another blogger, just wanted to share this:

"Trump was on Fox and Friends. Here’s some of the things he said:

He says he never said ‘lock her up’.

He supports climate change because it means a little more beachfront property.

He will appoint an Attorney General who will go after Americans who don’t support him.

He will fire America’s military generals and replace them with MAGA loyalists.

He said Americans who don’t support him are the enemy and more dangerous than Putin.

He said Americans who don’t support him are evil and he wants to seek revenge on them by sending the DOJ after them.

He said China and Russia aren’t the problem, people in America who don’t support him are the problem.

He said there will be a depression like in 1929 if he loses.

He said he will immediately end the Department of Education if he wins."

If you lived in Communist controlled countries after WW II, perhaps you would think this isn't so bad. He doesn't say he won't pay you wages for work, but the work will all go toward his benefir.

He doesn't say you will get a job if you've been out of work for a while. No promise here, though he will say something to that effect often during the campaign.

He doesn't say that he gives a damn about you. He just demands that you join his hate towards those he currently lists, and thus making him dictator he will eliminate them.

See Vicki Lane's blog about a book (Caste, The Origins of Our Discontents) that certainly should help us understand the ardent followers of the crazed orange dictator-to-be. Here's her link since blogger won't let me add it to her name, and they won't even recognize it as a link!!

  1. Millions will vote for the would-be dictator, not realizing that you can't control a dictator. The tables could easily turn.

  3. I don’t understand how anyone can still support this man.
