Going to compostnow.org we find this:

Unfortunately, I don't live in Asheville...rather about 15 miles up the valley. Oh well. I was shopping in Asheville when I saw the truck! Go to the site for pricing.

OK Adding the prices available 7.13.23

  1. The bins are a great idea, I wish more places offered this program. Take care, enjoy your day!

    1. It sounds good, with several choices available. People asked me the prices. I'll have to go look again.

  2. I know some of the larger urban areas pick up compostable kitchen waste etc, but that’s not an option in our town.

    1. Small towns have other options...a community garden nearby had doubled the size of its compost bins. I just throw mine in the same trash that goes to the dump, sorry to say.

    1. It's a great idea especially for urban or apartment dwellers like me.

  4. Barbara, This isn't an option here either and the cost/benefit ratio to us wouldn't work out either. Good for the planet but not good for our expenses on a fixed income. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
