Hakeem Jeffries has often been on my local public radio station -- he's a Brooklyner, so I've enjoyed his wonderful speechmaking for years, following his career. So glad that a lot of people are now getting the benefit. He's totally on point, always. Even on call in shows where questions come in spontaneously, he's this good. Permanently prepared.
I had read his long list of alphabetical alliteration but not heard the entire speech. What a powerful speaker. I hope he one day becomes Speaker of the House and maybe even fills a higher office for our country. He's got talent!
I heard his speech, very good! Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteAnd we won't even compare it to the junky stuff coming from McCarthy.
Delete...and to listen to what is coming out from the other side of the aisle.
ReplyDeleteIt's no comparison!

ReplyDeleteThat's great to learn, a background that helps me see he does have a good future ahead.
DeleteI loved that speech. It gave me hope that there might be a future of thoughtful, smart people in congress.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Now just to tune out the idiots!
