Looking Glass Falls

Thanks to the person in red shirt for putting things into perspective.

We enjoyed a break from driving and just looked at it...I walked down half the stairs to get closer. And then puffed and coughed back up. Good exercise!

    1. Almost every visitor to Asheville goes to see this lovely little falls...since it's right on the highway. But it does require a drive of at least an hour to get there, and then what do you do? Well go on the Blue Ridge Parkway of course, right up the hill!

    1. Thanks, I did some editing along the edges to calm down the sunshine. Maybe too much...

    1. It's named from a nearby rock face which is pretty bare and shiny whenever it rains, thus it's called Looking Glass Mountain.

    1. If we hadn't been hungry and headed to the Pisgah Inn up on the Parkway, we might have lingered much longer! At other times I have!

  9. What a beautiful spot. I can almost hear the rush of the water and feel the spray.
