ReplyDeleteThanks Robin. I like that view as well. It didn't happen that often, for me to be able to get to that view meant our road had to have been cleared...which has become the last thing that happens after snow. I've got a couple of photos to remember it anyway!
DeleteThat quarry is an ugly scar on the landscape. I hope that it is fully remediated when gravel extraction ceases.
ReplyDeleteThat and the booming when they blast out more areas...the neighbors are certainly not too happy about it. And we all have the trucks carrying the gravel on our roads to deal with as well.
