A friend's flowers

She gladly showed me her Joe Pie Weed in the butterfly garden, because I got it mixed up with Sedum (see below.)

I love Echinacea seed heads.

Here's her monkey which wanted a pumpkin (thus part of the reason to go to Old Fort to look at pumpkins.)
Some of the butterfly garden.

I think these are called anemone. The ones I knew before were in the water!

And here's Hanuman feeling happier.

Today's quote:

"Where love is concerned, too much is not even enough." French playwright Pierre-Augustin Beaumarchais, born Jan 24 in Paris (1732)

  2. I think Joe Pye weed is a type of comfrey. It grows all over the place here.
    Nice butterfly garden! 🦋 🪴

    1. Oh, and since it was only identified for me in the field, or gardens, I didn't think of spelling it Pye! That's a good one on me!

    1. I saw some more growing in a very strange place, but I've heard they do reseed well.

  4. Your echinacea pic and comment reminds me that we will soon be deadheading ours. Yes, it is that time of year in The Great White North.

    1. Do you collect the echinacea seeds? Or why do you deadhead them?

  6. Lovely flower garden there. Hanuman is very interesting, makes me think of a early primate Buddha.

    1. Ha ha, I love thinking of Buddha as an early primate, then perhaps he evolved into an Indian man.
