Community Garden asleep

I enjoyed my walk around these gardens, though nobody was working them that cold day of January.

There were just a few uncovered plots with green winter crops.

Several signs let everyone know how the garden is run.

Today's quote:

There is a perceptible energetic shift that takes place when we choose to see the good in all.

    1. I envy folks who work in the dirt. My gardening is now all in planters. One and a half feet of snow equals how many inches of rain? I wonder...

  2. We're starting to think about getting the garden ready for spring planting here. Yay!!

    1. I used to love looking at seed catalogs in Jan. and Feb. and even Mar. I'll just go to a nursery in April and see what herbs they have in 4 inch pots...to be transplanted into my big ones on my porch or balcony.

  3. I'm undecided about whether to plant tomatoes this spring. If all goes well, I would like to be traveling this summer which means no one to care for them.

    1. Well, that's an interesting dilemma to have. Maybe you could have one or two plants, and then if COVID doesn't allow much travel, at least you'd have those delicious tomatoes.

    1. I don't know whether this garden had to close or not. I seldom walk over there, though it's very close to home. I'll try to keep going there more often and find out.

    1. Yes, if only we had snow. Further up the mountains is due to get some starting tonight. It will just be cold rain for me though.
