At the Lakeview Center, when I arrived for lunch the other day, look what I found!
This is when the trunk of a car was actually a trunk!
I really have no idea what kind of car this is. No emblems or names set off it's identity that I can find. I'd love to know, if you do know, please comment.

Sepia Saturday this week. Not on theme, but antiques are like sepias, right?
I love these cars. Such great lines.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous car to tour the Blueridge Parkway! I think it's a 1931 Ford which had a flying quail radiator cap emblem.
ReplyDeleteYay, Mike! I'll check more when I get a chance. I coudn't figure out the emblem at all. I'll give you a cup of coffee if you ever come to Black Mountain!
ReplyDeleteI had never really thought about the trunk of a car. Of course!
ReplyDeleteNot sure which is better, the antique car or the gorgeous trunk strapped on the back. This vehicle has been kept in mint condition, right down to those green hubs and spokes. Kudos to Mike for identifying it!
