Freedom! by Zenos Frudakis, Philadelphia
Wildfire created by wind-blown electric wires coming down. North Carolina mountains are at risk this time of year when we haven't had much rain.
Sepia Saturday's suggestions.

Did I mention my decision to not post any more war related photos. In trying to have a more peaceful existence I'm avoiding news of wars as well...by muting or fast forwarding through recorded items.
After all, we are what we eat. And that includes the videos and stories we see and hear. I am afraid I still like murder mysteries, because after all, they usually have a happy ending...except for the victim however. May need to go back to romantic novels and TV shows. Well, maybe at least medical soap operas.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI hope it is not a bad wildfire season. It has been dry here too.
I love the face of peace images and NAPS.
There are days I have to ignore the news, peace of mind is important.
Take care, have a great day and a happy Easter weekend.
Happy Good Friday. That's a strange approach in wishes however.
DeleteMurder Mysteries are kind of wonderful. There’s nothing quite like a well-done murder. It’s absolutley charming if done right 😎
ReplyDeleteOh, I like that Freedom sculpture.
Yes…i agree with both your opinions!
DeleteFiberarts are my rod and staff! Making things to send to strangers as comfort helps with stress. And rationing the news, especially certain images.
ReplyDeleteYes, as a visual person, i certainly am cautious of what I see. Great to make things for others…as well as rationing news! Stress reduction both going and coming.
DeleteWhat a fine quote from Fred Rgers....and NAPS is essential for my peace of mind. Weird as it may be I am finding that cleaning and tossing is leading to more peace in my life. Just spending a few minutes each day, but it accumulates. We don't really celebrate Easter as such, but do welcome spring. So happy to see all the new greenery and flowers.......a welcome portend of what we can expect here in New England.... provided it doesn't snow!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week end, however you celebrate.
Thanks Suzy. Good to know lightening of possessions is also peace-inducing! Flowers yes!!
Delete...we all can poop a better President!!!
ReplyDeleteI don’t mind talking about the poop of animals, but draw the line on considering that of my blog friends!!
DeleteEmma Knight is my newest crush. She's got it figured out.
ReplyDeleteI love that sculpture.
And when we’re all 100, may the nursing homes all be like Emma’s Bahamas!
Delete"live my life with no crap" -- right on, little girl! That's what we all aspire to!
ReplyDeleteWe don’t need to wait till we’re 100 either!
Deletei will always support a no crap life. That's the best! That dog is absolutely right, he can poop a better president. :)
