Perhaps a laugh

And changed a zillion diapers on your butt!

This didn't happen on my recent trips to Asheville through Swannanoa, but it is at the corner where everyone turns to get on I-40. Apparently the guy was at a gas pump and hit the accelerator rather than the brake pedal. No injuries reported...but you have to wonder how he got out!

Dry Falls, near Franklin NC. It's actually quite damp under the falls!

I was lucky enough to be alive when this happened, and lived within a hundred miles of it! Saw it on the news with the traffic problems.

A week ago Friday was March 13...and here's Mr Rogers (no relation) talking about King Friday the 13th.

“Laugh. We’re all going to be dead anyway some day. So while you should try your hardest to make the most of your life, when something funny happens, when you make a mistake, or even (and perhaps especially) when bad things happen, it’s easier if you can laugh about yourself and the world.

Thanks to AC, must add this video! For all my fortunate Canadian friends! May you stay free of the (insert expletive here) threats from the Orange one, who we citizens of the USA deplore and wish to be rid of asap!

    1. Part of my conversation with a younger retired friend yesterday had to do with making photo albums in the iCloud. She does have teen grands. But they are so busy, whereas I’m free a lot of the time. Where did I learn? My youngest son and his wife!

    1. When feeling low energy, FB is my go-to for 1. entertainment, 2. some news as selected by robots, and 3. a few updates from friends!

  6. I got a new iPhone on Friday. The tech recommended insurance at $20 a month, first month free but we would have to go through the app and unsubscribe when the free month was up or it would automatically get added to the bill. We said no. He was convinced we didn't understand the ramifications of not having insurance if something happened to the phone, $1,000 to replace it. He kept hammering on it. Didn't matter how many times we said we understood, would take the chance. He did finally let it go.

    1. Oh watch out...that salesguy might be stalking you to cause damage to your new phone! My bad, slightly skeptical attitude today. Sorry. Thanks for the compliment.

  10. My sister went to Woodstock with her boyfriend. Later they married, raised two kids. They aren’t together now, but they’re still friendly.
