While I did see some nice critters to share today, I also spent about an hour last Saturday at the Tailgate Market.

First let me introduce Roberta the Basset. 




Isn't she a sweetheart?

I live across the courtyard from Roscoe the Basset...another tan and white. I may have a photo of him somewhere.

Saturday around 10, before the heat, but still humid as can be!

Here's another critter who was leaving as I was arriving.



Nope, I don't have any idea who she is, but she was just willing to stand there while I shot a few pics. OK, let's give her a name...maybe Aunt Grace.

A very nice band, where people were sitting on picnic table benches and one woman held her flower bouquet for me to include here. Sorry, i didn't get the name of the band.

Yes the farms are producing pretty well by late June!

My challenge was keeping my balance on the uneven ground. I've become quite acclimated to pavement.





I was glad to walk all through the market, mainly in the shady places. Talked to a couple of old friends. And then was out of breath when I finally returned to my car.

Thanks CNN showing me why I am being so careful about this dizziness that comes from medications. Vertigo and blood pressure changes with bending over, sitting or standing up are hard enough as it is!

    I love the painting, all the colors are so cheerful. The floral arrangement.
    Roberta is a sweet dog, so cute. Great critter photos, I do love the dogs.

      I don't think I'll go today. To the Tailgate Market, I mean. Plenty of tasks to catch up with here closer to home. Can always use my walking stick as well...when I go out! Thanks for hosting Saturday's Critters!

      Thanks, we all are a bunch of characters, that’s for sure! I have also found that people don’t want to have my phone pointed at them so I often appointed at a different direction until they’re not looking

      Today I wasn’t at the market, but I did do the laundry! I also think I’m going to go to the grocery store. That’s the plan. I will definitely take your toes crossed Help!

    One of the things my PT reintroduced me to after hip surgery was walking on uneven ground! Skills. It's pretty demanding, so I'm glad you're doing some of it.
    Your market trip was grand. I like seeing dogs at the local farmer's market. A place where they're welcome.

      Went I worked at the tailgate Market each Saturday, There were a few years when they did not allow dogs because some had gotten into a fight. However, when they put up little signs saying how dogs had to behave (Not in dog language, unfortunately) They let the dogs come back.

    Why one white rock? For interest, for tension, for focus. Without it you wouldn't notice the rocks at all.

    Falling in old age is the reason I got the Watchman device in my heart so I could get off blood thinners. People hit their heads on the way down.

    I love the market and would enjoy walking through. I have to avoid hard surfaces so I usually walk on the grass or dirt but I try to be careful. I sure don't want to fall! Hugs!
